The newly-released CEIVA 7-inch Digital Photo Frame brings your photos to life without a computer. Just insert a memory card and see an instant slideshow displayed on a high resolution, active-matrix LCD widescreen, viewable from virtually any angle. New contemporary styling is ideal for any room in your home or office!

The CEIVA 7-inch Digital Photo Frame comes with 3 months of PicturePlan, an optional service that allows you to receive new photos automatically from anyone, anywhere in the world.

Your PicturePlan provides additional features:

  • Receive photos without a computer every day, automatically from friends and family
  • Send photos directly from a camera phone or from anywhere online
  • Edit and send photos directly to any CEIVA frame
  • Upload photos automatically from a card reader over Wi-Fi and Broadband connections
  • Safely store unlimited photos on the CEIVA Network for free
  • Access free channels for daily updates of weather, sports, news and more

The CEIVA Digital Photo Frames will always display memory card images, with or without a PicturePlan.

How it Works: The CEIVA frame displays photos directly from a memory card. With PicturePlan, your CEIVA frame connects to your existing phone line and dials a local number each night to check for new photos. There's no interruption to your existing phone service, and no charge to your line. Each morning, new photos appear automatically.

Wi-Fi and Broadband Options: Add a CEIVA Broadband or CEIVA Wireless adapter to connect to a home network and your CEIVA frame will automatically send a copy of your memory card images to your personal albums on the CEIVA Network. Every picture you take is ready to share!

Pros and Cons

Pros It is nice when you get the online service, but it costs $15/mo.
Cons If you don't get the online service you constantly get errors that your frame cannot connect. Also you cannot add any more photos via usb once your subscription expires.

Review

I have tried emailing support on why my frame always tries to connect to the Ceiva server and they emailed me back a week later asking me to call them. I tried chatting online about the same thing and they just asked me to call them. When I tried to call I was on hold for a long time and the call timed out. Their support is terrible and once the subscription to the online service expires the entire frame becomes useless.

Review

This made a great present for my parents after our first child was born. I was able to post all of the pictures that my parents wanted to see. I am not sure if anyone else provides this type of service but Cevia does a good job. Hope this helps.
